The Tramex CMEX5 Concrete Moisture Encounter is a professional-grade digital moisture and relative humidity meter designed for comprehensive testing of concrete, wood, and building materials. An upgrade to the trusted CMEX2, the CMEX5 provides non-destructive quantitative moisture readings, ambient environmental monitoring, and in-situ RH testing—making it the most versatile meter in the Tramex lineup.
With a built-in hygrometer, the CMEX5 measures Ambient Relative Humidity, Temperature, Dew Point, and Humidity Ratio, helping you fully assess environmental conditions before flooring or coating applications. A bayonet port allows for connection to Tramex Hygro-i2 RH sensors (for ASTM F2170 compliance) and optional pin-type wood probes, expanding functionality across multiple materials and testing standards.
The CMEX5 evaluates concrete moisture to a depth of approximately 20mm (¾"), with results based on Gravimetric and Carbide Method equivalents. It also includes reference scales for comparative readings and is fully compliant with ASTM F2659.
Bluetooth connectivity enables full integration with the Tramex Meters App, allowing users to generate visual moisture maps, reports, and geotagged data for easy documentation and sharing.
