Product Description
ResinForce Metallic LV Cast Epoxy is primarily used for metallic epoxy systems on floors and casting epoxy projects up to 4" thick. Due to the low viscosity and extended working time, this product is not recommended for vertical or uneven surface, which may cause pooling, running, and dripping. ResinForce Metallic LV Cast Epoxy is a high gloss, low viscosity, self-leveling epoxy, with a mix ratio of 2 parts A to 1 part B by volume. Metallic LV Cast Epoxy is resistant to amine blush and water spotting, designed to provide penetration, wetting and sealing of substrates and surfaces for improved appearance and protection. The polymer structure has very good chemical resistance to corrosive chemicals, formulated to be extremely tough, durable, impact resistant, and abrasion resistant.
PROPERTIES: Based on 70°F - 80°F @ 50% RH*
Working Time......45 Minutes Light Traffic.......12 Hours
Pot Life................2-4 Hours Heavy Traffic........7 Days
Tack Free.............4-7 Hours Full Cure..............7 Days
*Note: Higher temperatures and humidity will shorten pot life and cure times. Colder temperatures and/or lower humidity will extend pot life and cure times.
Surface Preparation:
The concrete surface must be deemed mechanically and structurally sound, thoroughly clean of debris and completely dry. Concrete must be fully cured for a minimum of 28 days. Mechanically prep the concrete surface by shot blasting or diamond grinding with 30 grit or coarser diamonds to achieve a CSP-2 to CSP-3 profile. Vacuum concrete surface until dust is thoroughly removed. If applying over existing coating beyond the re-coat window, the surface should be sanded thoroughly with a 60-120 grit sanding screen until the surface is completely abraded with scratches. Vacuum dust thoroughly. Substrate, air, and material temps must be 40°F - 90°F. If applied outside these limits, the coating may have excessive air entrapment, bubbles, blushing, hazing, or curing issues. If moisture is present, prime concrete with RF-MVB first.
Mixing:
If mixing less than a full kit, mix part A and part B separately with a stir stick, low speed mixer or vigorously shake containers prior to measuring the material to ensure uniform distribution of all ingredients. In a clean mixing container, blend 2 parts A with 1 part B using a drill mixer for 2 minutes. Then pour contents into a separate clean container and mix again for 30 seconds. Avoid creating a vortex in the material which could introduce air and/or moisture content to the mixture. DO NOT THIN!

Direct to Concrete: 100 - 150 sq. ft. per gallon (10-16 mils)
Metallic Coat on primer: 30 - 50 sq. ft. per gallon (32-40 mils)
Casting Deep Pour: Up to 4 inches thick.
Not Recommended for exterior use.
